Michelle Bissett
Dr Bissett, is an occupational therapist with over 15 years of clinical experience. As an early career researcher, Michelle has explored occupational therapy practice with older adults in Emergency Departments and has an interest in research that promotes participation and independence of older adults. Michelle is currently involved in research examining links between cognition and ability in daily activities in older adults with mild cognitive impairment and the experience of transition from home to nursing home. Michelle is also interested in research related to education of health students and is supervising HDR students in this area.
