Bold Ideas Better Solutions 2024 Registration
We invite clinicians, researchers, industry partners, and people with disability to register and attend the 8th annual Hopkins Centre research symposium, Bold Ideas Better Solutions, 2024 (#BIBS24). This event will be held on Wednesday 23 October, 2024, at the Translational Research Institute (TRI) Auditorium at Princess Alexandra Hospital Precinct, Brisbane, QLD.
BIBS24 will be a hybrid event - giving you the option and flexibility to choose your attendance. When you register your attendance, you will have the opportunity to attend the symposium online or in person.
The theme this year is Interdisciplinary research: solving complex rehabilitation challenges. We will examine the value of interdisciplinary research teams and collaborative research in solving complex rehabilitation challenges including emerging health interventions and rehabilitation and disability practices. The symposium will highlight the Hopkins model of ‘close to practice’, translational research, which brings together clinicians, researchers, service users, consumers and industry representatives in meaningful research partnerships, to exchange new ideas and spark innovative solutions for the future in the disability and rehabilitation sector.
The symposium will present a stimulating program from across The Hopkins Centre’s programs of research, with a combination of oral presentations, lightning talks, poster displays, invited speakers, and panel session.
This is a FREE event, welcoming clinicians, researchers, people with lived experience of disability and rehabilitation, industry partners, as well as those with an interest in these areas to REGISTER to attend. The day-long symposium will provide the opportunity to showcase, connect, share new ideas and hear about the innovative solutions that are enhancing health and wellbeing of people with long-term and complex disability and rehabilitation needs, and their support networks.
