About the Project
Compassion is a healthcare fundamental that can be affected by personal and structural factors. Nurses are frontline providers of care, and their capacity to deliver compassionate care is important. The aim of this mixed methods study is to understand compassion-related perceptions and experiences and factors that influence nurses’ capacity for compassionate care in inpatient settings which provide rehabilitation care to patients following spinal or brain injury.
