Developing and testing a decision system for identifying housing options, mapping preferences and evaluating priorities in the disability market
About the Project
This project matched important housing features identified by end users and professional stakeholder inclusive housing development priorities. The perspectives of end users are poorly understood by most professional stakeholders involved throughout inclusive housing development, and thus, are not well accounted for throughout inclusive housing development decision-making. As a result, this project directly benefited end users by ensuring that their priorities were understood, and considered by all stakeholders involved in inclusive housing development. The inclusive housing development decision making resource which is being developed as a part of this project will potentially result in longstanding benefits to end users, as those who adopt the tool will be considering end user priorities, where previously they may have not.
