International Cognitive-Communication Disorders Conference

Brisbane Hub

The Hopkins Centre is proud to support the third International Cognitive-Communication Disorders Conference Brisbane Hub.  Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 situation we have had to change the format of the hub from in-person to virtual. The emphasis of this conference is on cognitive, communication and social disorders after traumatic brain injury, right hemisphere damage, and other related brain disorders.

You can still join the conference to hear about the latest research regarding the management of cognitive-communication disorders after brain injury, however there is a change in format. The format for the Brisbane hub will include:

  • Registrants will join the Livestream of the conference from Chapman University from 6.15am on Thursday 14th and Friday 15th January
  • A virtual hub will be established by The Hopkins Centre and Associate Professor Petrea Cornwell for attendees to view the sessions on Thursday, Friday and Saturday 16h January for which the livestream from the USA is between 2:00am and 5:15am


The Virtual Brisbane Hub will include:

  • Recorded sessions from the morning will be replayed with local discussion
  • You will have an opportunity to send questions to speakers through the site facilitator
  • Take part in facilitated discussions around local research and clinical issues
  • The SCCoPe Research Lab at Griffith University will also be launched

Cost:         General registration - US$50 (approx. $70 AUD) / Student Registration - free

Registration Details:
1.    Register and pay for your attendance via the Chapman University webpage
2.    Within the Chapman registration process please indicate you are attending a Hub Site
3.    Complete the Brisbane Hub registration form

Please note you can attend the entirety of the conference as a virtual attendee from Chapman University with livestream commencing at 8:00am.
