THC Researchers Invited to Attend Building Digital Equity Forum
Hopkins researcher and Advance Queensland Fellow, Camila Shirota, and Griffith’s Department of Tourism, Sport and Hotel Management and GIF, Popi Sotiriadou, attended the Building Digital Equity Forum in April. The Forum was an initiative of the Queensland Department of Communities, Housing and Digital Economy. During this meeting, the Digital Economy Minister Leeanne Enoch launched the Our Thriving Digital Future: Queensland's Digital Economy Strategy.
The strategy will deliver a range of strategic plans, including the Queensland Digital Infrastructure Plan, state-wide plans for digital inclusion and cyber security, and a First Nations digital strategic plan.
