Maddy Slattery
Senior Lecturer and Program Advisor for Mental Health Practice Programs, The Hopkins Centre
Dr Maddy Slattery is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Human Services and Social Work and teaches into the Master of Mental Health Practice program. Her research is focused on a number of areas including clinical supervision for mental health staff, the inclusion of peer support workers in mental health services, the use of recovery-oriented and person-centred care, consumer and carer engagement in health services, and bush adventure therapy. Maddy has worked as a clinical psychologist in government organisations and in private practice. She is currently working on projects that explore public involvement in health service delivery and how the public can be involved in meaningful ways in health research.
