Michaela Filipcikova

Dr Michaela Filipcikova, Research Fellow, The Hopkins Centre, Griffith University

 

Michaela completed her PhD at UNSW Sydney in 2023, focusing on social disinhibition in individuals with moderate-to-severe traumatic brain injury. During her research, she five published studies and contributed to five others, presenting her work at various national and international conferences. Since 2018, Michaela has been part of the NeuroBITE project at the University of Sydney, serving as the acting project manager in 2024. In November 2024, Michaela joined the Hopkins Centre, primarily to work on the 2024 Aus-InSCI Translation Project, while also contributing to other projects.


Outside of her research work, Michaela enjoys spending time in nature, capturing wildlife through photography, reading, and chasing her daughter around.
