About the Project

This study helps to shed light on the communication trajectories of children on the autism spectrum, including factors that may influence development and outcomes. Using the LENA digitised language recording devices, the study also provides insight into the pros and cons of technology based communication assessment, with implications for future design and development.

This study helps inform the Speech Patholoists and Therapists about the utility of the LENA instrument in predicting children that are most likely to benefit from Speech Interventions.
